54 providers.
One honest ranking.
Every travel eSIM catalogue we read, ordered by how many plans we actually track from it. No editorial star ratings, no paid positions, no invented scores. 52 of the 54 are returning plans today; PikaSim and Roamless stay listed and labelled rather than dropped.

Leaders, on measurable things only
21.6% of everything we track comes from this one feed.
Together with Bloomy eSIM that is 34.4% of the index.
Countries with at least one plan — more than any other provider we read.
The largest code we currently hold, with ESIMADVICE25.
How this page is ordered
Most comparison sites give each provider a score out of five and never say where it came from. We would rather show you the one number we can actually stand behind.
- 1Sorted by plans tracked, by defaultHow many live plans we currently read from that provider's catalogue. It is a measure of how much we can compare, not a quality rating.
- 2Catalogue size is not the same as coverageBloomy eSIM carries 46,808 plans across 196 countries, while COCOROAM reaches 208 countries from 6,187. More plans is more to compare, not more places to use them. Check the country page for who actually covers your destination.
- 3Codes never move a provider upWe earn a commission on some purchases and hold discount codes with 43 of these providers, 38 of them a straight percentage off. Neither changes the order on this page.
- 4Empty and partial catalogues are shown, not hidden2 providers currently report zero live plans (PikaSim, Roamless) and stay listed and labelled rather than being quietly dropped, because an empty catalogue is information too.
Provider questions
How do you compare eSIM providers?
We read each provider's live catalogue and normalise every plan onto the same terms: price per gigabyte, allowance, validity, host network, hotspot and top-up support. The provider list is then ordered on tracked plan count, which is a fact rather than an opinion. We do not publish a single "best provider" score.
Which provider has the largest catalogue?
Bloomy eSIM, at 46,808 tracked plans, which is 21.6% of everything in the index. RedEx eSIM follows at 27,660. Between them they make up 34.4% of the catalogue, so a ranking by plan count says as much about feed size as about the company.
Does a bigger catalogue mean a better provider?
No. It means more choice to compare, which is useful, but a large catalogue is often the same handful of plans repeated across many countries. For a specific trip, the country page is the better answer because it ranks whoever is actually cheapest there.
Why do some providers show very few plans?
Two reasons. Some genuinely sell a small range, usually unlimited-only. Others are mid-sync, or their feed has changed shape since we last read it. Where a count looks too low to be real, or a catalogue arrives with no country data at all, the card is labelled a partial catalogue rather than presented as the full range.
Do the promo codes actually work?
We hold codes with 43 of the 54 providers here. Each one is applied at checkout by us before it goes on the site, and re-tested regularly. Conditions are printed with the code, because a code that only fires on a two-item order is not a discount until you know that.
How long does activation take?
Usually minutes. Most providers email a QR code straight after payment; a few deliver through their own app. Install on wifi before you travel, because validity generally starts on first connection abroad rather than at purchase.
Skip the provider, start with the country
Whoever is cheapest in Japan is rarely cheapest in Peru. The country page ranks all 54 against each other for the place you are actually going.
